The Defender battery is charged via a USB port located on the bottom section of the battery. It takes approx. 2.5 hours to charge the battery using a 1A mains adapter. The charging period could be longer, if charged via a computer or in the car. The battery charge indicator flashes on the screen during the entire charging process. If the battery is fully charged, the indicator stops flashing and remains brightly lit for 15 seconds, and thereafter the charging stops.
10 seconds protection: holding the button down for over 20 seconds switches off the output and the screen reads "Over 10s"
Atomizer short-circuit: if the atomizer is short-circuited, the screen reads “Atomizer Short”.
Low voltage protection: if the battery voltage drops below 3.3V, the screen reads „Lock“.
Deactivating the low voltage protection: if the battery voltage rises above 3.7V, the device becomes unlocked.
Low power message: if the battery capacity drops to 10%, the power symbol on the screen starts flashing.

* The useful life of all batteries is 300 charging cycles. This means that charging for even 5 minutes counts for one charging cycle. To ensure complete charging cycles we recommend using the battery until empty and only then charging. Further, we recommend that you always use two batteries to enjoy complete convenience of use: while one battery is in use, the other is being charged.
